A well-established, UKAS-accredited provider of Welding Procedure and Welder Qualification Testing, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and Mechanical Testing is seeking a skilled NDT Technician to join their expert team. The company is dedicated to delivering best-in-class testing services across the UK, supporting safety and quality in the welding and fabrication industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on welds and metallic materials using approved methods, both in-house and on client sites.
- Ensure all testing procedures comply with UKAS standards and current industry regulations.
- Produce clear, detailed, and accurate inspection reports.
- Maintain strong client relationships, providing clear communication and technical support regarding inspection results.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality services and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Commutable to Bristol or Manchester.
- Minimum PCN Level 2 (ISO 9712) certification in:
- Visual Inspection (VI)
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
- Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI)
Desirable Skills & Certifications
- PCN Level 2 (ISO 9712) in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT).
- CSWIP 3.1 certification.
- Experience in Quality Control and Corrosion Inspection.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication abilities.
