Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be supporting a leading UK law firm with the appointment of an experienced Paralegal to join their highly regarded Personal & Family team, based in Edinburgh. With strong growth over the past few years and a reputation for excellence across legal disciplines, this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated paralegal to develop their career within a top-tier private client practice.
This role will see you manage your own caseload and support a busy team on a broad range of matters, including:
- Executry and trust administration (including high-value and taxable estates)
- Asset protection and capital gains tax mitigation
- Guardianship administration
- Drafting wills and powers of attorney
- Regular client contact (individuals, executors, trustees and institutions)
- Working closely with solicitors, partners, tax and trust specialists
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working in a private client or family law team
- Confident managing a busy caseload and working to tight deadlines
- Excellent client care skills, with a high level of discretion and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and written communication
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a genuine interest in personal legal matters
- Experience with case management systems is beneficial, though full training will be provided
