One of the largest councils in the South East is currently looking to recruit to a senior leadership position. Interim Executive Director Climate, Environment & Customer Service to take the lead and oversight of their Climate, Environment & Customer Service Directorate. This role is a critical role for the authority and as such requires someone who has worked at Executive Director level with extensive leadership experience in all or some of the following service areas:

  • Climate
  • Environment
  • Highways/Transport
  • Customer Services

You will need to bring a strong commercial focus, as well as Senior Local Government Officer experience with significant corporate leadership, as well as a track record of driving major change and transformation, and dealing with members. Extensive leadership experience in the relevant service areas. Experience in driving major change and transformation.

The role will pay circa £1,300 per day Hybrid working.
