We are on the hunt for an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to come and join our Finance team… this could be your opportunity to join the sweet life of HARIBO and support our Wholesale channel!
Within this role you will report directly into our ‘Head of Commercial Finance’ and work as part of a team of four. To enable sugary success, you will act as a financial business partner to our Sales team which will include providing valuable insights, analysis, and guidance on core business decisions. You will also help drive profitable growth in our key wholesale customers as well as work with our wider Finance team to ensure the smooth transition into our new business system (SAP).
How you’ll contribute to the mix:
- Acting as a strategic financial advisor to the Wholesale Sales team by providing valuable insights and guidance on business decisions.
- Using knowledge and judgement to provide input to the wholesale sales forecast in close collaboration with the wider Finance team.
- To own the financial appraisal of promotional and trade investment opportunities whilst ensuring compliance and control of corporate spend.
- You will play an active role in quantifying the impact of key strategic decisions, being able to challenge assumptions using data, and to provide scenario analysis to aid decision making.
- As HARIBO UK transitions to SAP, this role will be instrumental in ensuring sales and trade investments are correctly set up on the new system and reported outputs are robust and understood.
Can you supply our essential ingredients?
We are on the hunt for a qualified Accountant with previous commercial accounts experience, preferably within the UK wholesale industry… hitting our sweet spot? We would love to hear from you!
It is also essential that you’re a guru when it comes to excel and are not phased by handling large volumes of data whilst maintaining control and accuracy. Furthermore, due to the nature of the role and the strong relationships required between various stakeholders across HARIBO; we are looking for an excellent communicator who is confident speaking to all levels within the business. Together, we are also looking for evidence that you can always maintain a professional and confident manner.

What about systems experience?
Movex/ M3 Software knowledge is highly desirable but not essential and not forgetting SAP too! Do you have German language abilities? How amazing, but again don’t worry this isn’t essential.
