This temporary role is more aligned with an Expediting role but with the capability to carry out general procurement tasks under direct supervision, plans delivery of goods and services to support manufacturing, technology, or project management strategic plans at the plant level.
Responsibilities include:
- Growing professional relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaising with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods (via telephone and email).
- Performing clerical duties, and maintaining accurate records and files of activities.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of procurement would be beneficial.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient people skills.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, pro-active, organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to comply with company policies and procedures.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
- SAP experience would be advantageous.
