I'm currently partnering with a leading global commodities broker to recruit a high-calibre HR Business Partner to support their Front Office client groups. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and matrixed organisation where commercial impact and strategic thinking are key.

The successful candidate will be embedded in a complex, high-performance environment, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and delivering across the full employee lifecycle. Proven experience supporting Front-Office client groups is a must-have, along with longevity in roles throughout your career and the ability to be in the office 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acting as a strategic partner to Business Heads and Line Managers, aligning people strategy with business goals.
  • Championing people initiatives and driving cultural and operational change.
  • Monitoring and interpreting people metrics to inform HR priorities.
  • Delivering end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, performance reviews, and offboarding.
  • Managing complex employee relations cases, including redundancies, grievances, and performance issues.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with FCA and SM&CR requirements in collaboration with Compliance.
  • Supporting Compensation & Benefits processes and cross-functional HR initiatives.
  • Mentoring junior HR team members and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience as an HRBP in a regulated, global, and fast-paced environment—ideally within financial services or trading.
  • Strong background supporting Front Office or revenue-generating teams.
  • Demonstrates resilience, confidence, and commercial acumen.
  • Comfortable navigating complex matrix structures and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Familiar with regulatory frameworks including SM&CR and FCA standards.
