We are seeking an exceptional Sales Executive to join the Maybourne Sales team. Maybourne owns and manages Claridge's, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Emory, The Maybourne Beverly Hills and The Maybourne Riviera. Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Sales Executive will be responsible for supporting revenue generation from local and global companies working closely with the Sales Managers & Regional Director of Sales.
  • They will be a specialist in Maybourne storytelling and deliver strong activity through face-to-face sales activity (site inspections, Fam Trips and presentations) helping revenue growth for London Maybourne properties.
  • Develop close and productive working relationships with existing and new clients supporting the Sales territory responsibility.
  • Proactively target new business opportunities for London Maybourne properties and focus on meeting hotel’s budget targets.
  • Preparing corporate proposals and paper contracts and RFPs.
  • Responsible for handling site inspections for overseas clients visiting London.
  • Obtain and maintain detailed product knowledge of all Maybourne experiences in line with the brand pillars.
  • Identify current market trends (via market and competitor analysis), recommending appropriate measures to ensure that Maybourne responds competitively.
  • Identify potential sources of business (using the various resources available) by analysing evidence of buyer activity in competitor hotels to gain market share and to follow up referred sales leads.
  • To support proactive calls with identified business sources, assess potential and arrange sales appointments.
  • To proactively conduct client appointments either in person or virtually within agreed parameters, completing call and meeting notes in Salesforce and instigating agreed follow up activities.
  • To support the Regional Director of Sales with the co-ordination of client events, Familiarisation Trips and corporate gifting.
  • To conduct show rounds of all hotel facilities to potential and existing clients ensuring the clients are introduced to key Operational Managers and GMs where appropriate.
  • This may include evening client entertainment with hotel teams.
  • Work closely with the Groups, Sales, Revenue Management, on property Event teams and operational teams to convert bookings.
  • To provide client feedback/suggestions to operational management on the delivery of our products and services.
  • To treat as confidential information relating to Maybourne Hotels Limited clients, their booking patterns and spends, and not to disclose such information (during employment and thereafter), without the express authorisation of Maybourne Hotels Limited.
  • To be fully conversant with your departmental LQA standards.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sales Force and Opera.
  • Have previous experience within a Sales environment.
