The Role
As an SDR at MotherLink, you’ll be instrumental in growing our client portfolio through proactive outbound sales and thoughtful client engagement. You’ll manage the full top-of-funnel cycle—from identifying new leads to delivering customized proposals—while collaborating closely with our SEO Account Managers and marketing team to ensure alignment between client needs and our service offerings. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully sold digital marketing services, particularly SEO, and is now ready to drive growth in new verticals.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Lead Generation: Identify, research, and reach out to potential clients using cold email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Inbound Sales Handling: Respond to inquiries quickly, qualify prospects, and convert interest into opportunity.
- Client Discovery & Demo Calls: Conduct engaging discovery and demo calls, digging into client pain points and illustrating how our SEO solutions deliver value.
- Tailored Proposals: Craft personalized offers that match client goals, leveraging our full range of SEO and digital solutions.
- CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain clean, organized CRM data and ensure timely follow-ups and accurate forecasting.
- Market Expansion: Actively explore new industry verticals and contribute to strategies for entering them.
- Team Collaboration: Work with our SEO, account management, and marketing teams to sharpen pitch angles and optimize sales enablement assets.
Requirements
- Sales Experience: 2+ years of proven success in a sales development or similar role—must include digital marketing or SEO service sales.
- Outbound Sales Expertise: Comfortable initiating cold outreach and booking discovery calls with mid-size and enterprise clients.
- CRM Fluency: Skilled in using sales tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive.
- Communication Pro: Strong verbal and written English skills (native or near-native fluency).
- Analytical Mindset: Able to assess client needs and align them with the most effective services.
- Autonomy & Drive: Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing your own pipeline.
