What skills and experience we\’re looking for
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable AcademyFacilities Manager to join the team at our new satellite site to ensure ourschool premises are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational. As SiteManager, you will play a key role in maintaining and managing the school\’sfacilities to ensure they are safe, welcoming, and fit for purpose. This is anessential role where you\’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-dayoperations of the site, managing preventive preplanned and reactive maintenancetasks, ensuring health and safety compliance, and supporting the smooth runningof school activities and events. Your work will directly contribute to creatinga positive learning environment for both students and staff.
KeyResponsibilities:

  • Manage the maintenance and upkeep of theschool\’s buildings and grounds ensuring the site is fully compliant.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmentalstandards are met through regular inspections and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with contractors for repairs andmaintenance.
  • Maintain site security and manage access tothe buildings.
  • Assist with the setup and support of schoolevents and activities.
  • Respond to emergency repairs as needed.

KeyRequirements:

  • Previous experience in site management orfacilities management, ideally in a school or educational setting
  • Strong organisational and problem-solvingskills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and leadershipabilities, with experience supervising a team
  • Knowledge of health, safety, buildingmaintenance, and environmental regulations
  • Ability to work independently and manage yourtime efficiently
