Job Description:
Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently seeking a reliable and experiencedClass 2 HGV Driverto join our clients team on a temporary basis in Edinburgh. This role involves multi-drop deliveries of bulk food products to commercial customers across Scotland, with an emphasis on safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Please note that this is aphysically demanding role, involvingheavy liftingduring loading and unloading, however, you will be working alongside adrivers mate, who will assist with loading and unloading at delivery points.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle in a safe and compliant manner

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure accurate paperwork

• Deliver goods to commercial clients, adhering to delivery schedules

• Communicate effectively with transport teams and customers

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card

• Minimum 1 year of class 2 experience

• Strong work ethic and good communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Pay:

• £14.00 Per hour Monday Friday (accrued holiday pay)
• £15.69 Per hour Monday Friday (including holiday pay)
