We are looking for an Event Manager to join our client, who puts on private corporate events throughout the UK, with their international clients. They have been industry leaders for the last 30 years, working with high profile corporate clients offering bespoke solutions across the UK and Ireland. They take pride in the personal service that they can give their clients, using innovation and imagination to ensure that every trip has a unique feel!
Being an Event Manager, it will be your responsibility to project manage MICE business events and activations from conception to delivery. You will liaise effectively and concisely with all parties involved with the event from Clients to Suppliers and ensure all clients are provided with the highest service as per the set standards, exceeding customer expectations whilst demonstrating current management experience of training and developing junior members of the team.
Due to the responsibilities of the role, you are going to need 3+ years’ experience in a previous MICE Event Manager role within an events agency specifically. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who already manages their own portfolio of relevant MICE clients and could bring those relationships with them to this role!
A good geographical knowledge of the UK and Ireland and their best venues, hotels and restaurants is very important. Forming great relationships with clients is paramount as you not only meet their expectations but exceed them time and time again.
From a salary perspective, you are looking at between £40,000 and £50,000 depending on your experience for this role. The head office is in London and is easily commutable for most people. You will be able to work two days a week remotely once probation is passed.
