Are you a qualified Finance Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on role and values flexibility? We’re looking for an experienced and driven professional to join a growing finance team in a fully remote position. The team all meet up once a week in Surrey, so ideally someone based in Surrey, Sussex or Hampshire who enjoys the balance of autonomy and collaboration.

What’s in it for you:

The role:

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a key role within a high-performing finance function. You’ll take full ownership of financial control and reporting for three entities across the UK and Ireland, while also managing a small team and overseeing payroll functions for both head office and wider operations.

Your focus will span:

  • Monthly management accounts and budgeting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and statutory accounts
  • UK and Irish VAT compliance and ONS reporting
  • Overseeing Payroll for head office and coordination with an outsourced provider for wider teams
  • Supporting ERP rollout and driving data-led decisions on labour productivity

What we’re looking for:

  • A confident qualified accountant with strong Excel and Xero experience would be an advantage
  • Hands-on financial control and payroll exposure
  • A collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Experience in ERP implementation is highly desirable
  • Ideally based in Surrey, Sussex or Hampshire for ease of weekly collaboration
  • Anyone on shorter notice would be an advantage
