My client is seeking a proactive Software Sales Support professional to assist their Solution Specialists team. This role involves winning business, obtaining pricing and technical information, ensuring accurate paperwork and customer accounts, and managing software quotations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Microsoft CSP, EA & hyperscalers marketplace.
- Sales Engagement: Collaborate with sales account managers to respond to sales requests and develop sales opportunities.
- Lead Management: Follow up on leads and maintain an accurate database for targeted marketing.
- Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms within set guidelines and participate in sales team meetings.
- Customer Liaison: Coordinate with various departments to meet customer requirements and support the Software Business unit.
- Client Communication: Handle client enquiries and liaise with suppliers for pricing and technical information.
- Account Management: Issue account application forms, monitor credit limits, and generate product quotations.
- System Updates: Maintain D365 and sales support tools with accurate pricing and product descriptions.
Skills and Experience:
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in qualifying opportunities around Software solutions, including Microsoft CSP or Enterprise Agreements.
- Opportunity Identification: Ability to identify and close sales opportunities.
- Relevant Background: Experience in a similar inside sales or account manager role.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
