U
    1. Evaluate tender/ contract documentation, analyse risk/ opportunity and advice on feasibility of new tenders.
    1. Preparation of information for tenders that adequately address the client’s requirements for the work.
    1. Carry out quantity take-off/ produce "First Principle" cost and derive/ prepare bills of quantities/ schedules of rates in conjunction with the tender requirements.
    1. Produce appropriate documentation for inclusion in tenders that meet client and industry accepted standards, including but not limited to construction methodology, cash flow, commercial/ technical qualifications and others.
    1. Prepare sub-contract enquiries, procure quotations and review/ evaluate estimates/ quotations/ information from subcontractor/s so as to ensure it adequately addresses/caters the requirements for the work being proposed.
    1. Present finalised tender estimate/s (FP) to the management/ bid team for final adjudication/ decision prior to submission and provide information as necessary to Commercial Manager.
    1. Procure and administer all Subcontract accounts ensuring compliance with the agreed terms and conditions of Subcontract.
    1. Assess interim applications and authorise payments. Negotiate Final Account settlement in accordance with company procedures.
    1. Prepare and submit cost monitor to delivery team and monitor site performance on a weekly basis.
    1. Assist the project delivery team in the preparation and valuation of Change Requests for submission to the client in accordance with the Main Contract provisions.
    1. Maintain input to management accounts, supply chain database and information systems in accordance with company procedures.
    1. Liaise with the Commercial Manager and relevant Contracts Manager at all stages of the contract works.
    1. Evaluate and report contract commercial performance and financial recovery.
    1. Any other duties as may reasonably be required
    1. 2/3 years’ experience working within a contracting environment – Experience in Earth works is essential
    1. Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised
    1. Working with industry recognised computer software, * 1. Degree/ HND in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
    1. Membership with ICES/ RICS preferred but not essential
    1. Conversant with MS Office
