Konker is working with a respected architectural consultancy in Cheltenham that specialises in residential developments. With a steady workload and a growing client base, they’re now looking to strengthen their technical team with the addition of a Senior Architectural Technologist. This is a great opportunity to join a medium-sized practice (14 staff) that combines over 50 years of industry expertise with a modern, flexible approach. They work closely with national housebuilders, housing associations, and regional developers, delivering high-quality planning and technical design services on time and to budget.
The Position:
- Converting planning drawings into detailed working drawings for residential schemes.
- Producing technical drawings from inception and developing construction packages.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and other professionals throughout the project lifecycle.
- Managing technical detailing, issuing drawings, and uploading to online project systems.
- Reviewing subcontractor drawings to ensure quality and compliance.
To Be Considered:
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist, ideally with a focus on residential developments.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Revit, ArchiCAD, or AutoCAD (the team uses all three).
- Photoshop skills are a plus, but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable taking projects from planning through to delivery.
