The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
As the Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the provision of maintenance support to numerous Leisure Facilities and community venues across your area. You will also be responsible for responding to any reactive maintenance issues, and preventative maintenance lifecycles and for overseeing and monitoring contractors. You will carry out planned maintenance schedules as specified including inspection of the plant, routine cleaning, remedial work, recommending action concerning any defects, and recommending energy conservation.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintenance of the equipment within the leisure centres including all elements of first fix electrical fault finding and rectification across the division.
- The day to day operation of boilers, filtration plant, chemical dosing plant, air conditioning plant, and any other equipment as required.
- Troubleshooting and repairs of faults to mechanical and electrical plant.
- Responsible for undertaking all repairs to ensure the efficient operation of the centre focussing on electrical work, but also including basic carpentry, painting, mechanical and plumbing works.
- Adhere to and act as role model for company Hygiene, Health and Safety procedures when present at any Fusion site or affiliate site/offices.

The successful Maintenance Technician will have:
- Recognised Electrical engineering qualification, including 17th Edition wiring regulations.
- Previous experience working in a similar role across multi-sites.
- Experience in troubleshooting failures to mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and associated plant.
- Competent in completing multi-skilled repairs in basics electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Experience in maintaining manual and computerised records.
- Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and how it relates to service delivery.
Desirable (but not essential):
- IPAF Certificated for 3a & 3b machines; PASMA qualified.
- Experience in fault finding of BMS.
- Experience in a leisure/public venue environment.
- Experience of managing and monitoring contractors.
- Ability to utilise Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, word, and outlook).
- Experience of plant and pool maintenance.
- The ability to prepare and submit correspondence and reports.
Occasionally you may be required to work outside of normal working hours and respond to out-of-hours emergencies, covering 5 days out of 7 to suit the seasonal needs of the business.
