Vehicle Technician (Crash Test Dummies) – Warwickshire – Automotive – £32k + Overtime Role: Vehicle Technician (Crash Dummies) *ADT Service Technician Salary: £25k to £32k + Overtime (1.5x Hourly Rate) Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday // 8:00am to 3:30pm Friday Are you a hands-on Vehicle Technician or someone with strong mechanical or electrical experience working on cars? This is a unique opportunity to take your skillset in a new direction – working not on the vehicles themselves, but on the highly advanced Crash Test Dummies used in automotive safety testing. Carry out mechanical, electrical, and electronic setup, maintenance and calibration Ensure dummies comply with Euro NCAP protocols and regulatory standards Take physical measurements and record test data in structured reports Follow precise procedures to ensure accuracy and repeatability in testing Occasionally support out-of-hours or inter-departmental work Vehicle Technicians or mechanics who are looking for something new and impactful Service engineers with experience in automotive, electronics or diagnostics Someone confident working with mechanical fittings, sensors, and wiring in a structured, safety-critical environment NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science (A-C / 4–9) Physically fit and confident with manual handling Proficient in using MS Office and measurement tools Bonus if you have: Experience with instrumentation or data logging systems A driving licence and Level 4 Electro/Mechanical qualifications
