SEN Care Support Assistants – Barking Are you a dedicated and passionate individual seeking a fulfilling, long-term role in a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) school setting? We are currently recruiting experienced SEND Care Support Workers/Teaching Assistants to join our team, catering to children and young people aged 5-19 with diverse SEND needs, including Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Speech and Language Communication Difficulties. Location: Barking, East London Position: Full-time SEN Care support/Teaching Assistant Age Group: Children and young people aged 5-19 Responsibilities: As a SEND Care Support Worker/Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Providing support for young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. Assisting with personal care, including feeding, moving, and handling. Supporting pupils in their learning development and addressing care needs within the school environment. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience: Experience in supporting children or young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities (desirable). Training in moving and handling. Care-based experience. Valid DBS registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
