Overview

Finishing Technician – This is a fantastic opportunity to join a globally recognised British engineering company near Uxbridge, operating at the forefront of aerospace technology.

Location: Near Uxbridge, Middlesex

Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum

Hours: Double Days – Week 1: 06:00-14:00 / Week 2: 14:00-22:00

Start Date: ASAP

Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Operating Walther Trowal vibratory finishing machines and barrel tumblers
Finishing metallic components to exact aerospace standards
Masking areas such as bores, holes, and slots to protect from abrasives
Conducting in-process inspections and packing completed parts for internal delivery
Reading and following technical drawings, part numbers, and aerospace documentation (ADRs)

What we’re looking for

Proven experience using vibratory and/or tumbling finishing machinery (Walther Trowal experience desirable)
Previous background in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
Familiarity with basic inspection tools and quality checks
Awareness of Health & Safety procedures and COSHH regulations
