We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Email Marketing Specialist who will single-handedly own and drive the email marketing function within our department. In this role, you will act as the key point of contact for all email marketing activities, collaborating closely with stakeholders across News, PR, and Product teams to deliver outstanding performance.
Your focus will span list growth, lead acquisition, and, crucially, converting leads into depositing players. You will be expected to operate with a high level of autonomy, treating the email marketing channel as if it were your own business.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end execution of all email marketing initiatives – from planning and content coordination to deployment and performance tracking.
- Develop and maintain robust processes to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently, effectively, and on
- Manage critical resources, including email lists, marketing tools, and content libraries, ensuring optimal organization and cost-efficiency.
- Uphold quality control standards to meet industry best practices in deliverability,and
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance campaign effectiveness and operational workflows.
- Work closely with Content, Design, PR, and Product teams to ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration and campaign alignment.
- Regularly report on performance metrics, drawing actionable insights and presenting recommendations for optimization and growth.
- Maintain a strategic and tactical balance, from day-to-day execution to long-term channel evolution
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in email marketing, CRM, or a closely related field, ideally in fast-paced or high-growth environments.
- Bachelor\’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related
- Expertise with major email marketing platforms as io, xtremepush.com, or similar.
- Strong command of email marketing best practices including segmentation, automation, personalization, and deliverability.
- Ability to strategically plan and independently execute effective campaigns aligned with business
- Analytical, data-driven mindset with a relentless focus on
- Proficiency with HTML and CSS for email template creation and
- Skilled collaborator who can easily align cross-functional teams (Content, Design, Product) toward common goals.
- Driven by ownership, accountability, and the desire to build something impactful from the ground
