We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimal functioning, reliability, and safety of our machinery, equipment, and facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and implementing process improvements.

In this role you will be working closely with our Team ensuring they receive the World Class Vuba customer service and products that we strive for!

As a Maintenance Engineer in Easihold you will:

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement timely repairs.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs and service records.
  • Develop and update maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Recommend improvements for system efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers for replacement parts and services.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and systems.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) OR equivalent technical training/certification.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLCs, and automation.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
