Variable Hours - On site at Kingston College. The Commercial Industries and Access School at Kingston College is seeking an experienced co-ordinator to manage specialist learning spaces and resources. Based in the Health and Social Care Hub and Headmasters Salon, the role involves overseeing equipment, stock, and room bookings, while ensuring health and safety standards are upheld and compliance met.
The co-ordinator will also support curriculum delivery and assessments, contribute to daily operational tasks, assist as a learning technologist and in-classroom support, and play a role in marketing and income generation. You will liaise with staff, clients, and external partners and play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day running of facilities and the broader college community.
We would like you to hold vocational qualifications (or at least Level 2 NVQ), have experience in providing technician support in care and commercial industries, and have working technical knowledge of customer services. With a learning technologist skillset or willingness to train specifically with a focus on VR, you will have a high level of computer literacy, technical knowledge, and a track record of being able to share those skills.
With the ability to identify and implement improvements in existing systems and liaise with teams and individuals across the school and college facilities, you will show patience and communicate effectively at all levels. Willing to work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings throughout the year, with prior agreement, you will be able to organise, prioritise, and reflect, using your own initiative and work from instruction when prompted.
The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that will be implemented in the new academic year. Closing date for the return of completed applications is 5th June 2025.
