What skills and experience we\βre looking for
We wish to appoint anenthusiastic, proactive and professional colleague to join our strong anddedicated guidance team in the role of attendance manager.
The successful applicant will leadthe school\βs attendance team and work alongside colleagues in guidance and SLTto provide operational and administrative support to promote whole school attendancestrategies.
A significant amount of the workwill involve identifying pupils for whom attendance is a barrier to learningand working alongside these pupils and their families with the support ofexternal agencies to remove these barriers.A key group will be those pupils who are persistently absent.
The attendance manager will leadon the co-ordination of home visits, undertaking a significant number each week,as well as all liaison work with the Local Authority attendance team.
