Location: Rushlift is a leading provider of innovative customer-focused solutions in materials handling equipment, mechanical services and fleet management. Rushlift provides impartial advice to enable customers to maximise the effectiveness of their industrial equipment fleets, through either long-term hire contracts or servicing and repair arrangements.

The Short Term Rental Sales Manager is responsible for driving rental revenue growth through the development and management of short term rental (STR) opportunities for the Rushlift MHE business. This role leads the commercial STR sales function, working closely with Asset & STR Manager to ensure fleet availability, pricing strategy, and customer service levels are aligned with business targets.

  • Drive short term rental revenue by identifying and converting rental opportunities across key sectors.
  • Manage inbound and outbound sales activity, including customer quotes, negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Support development of regional rental campaigns and tactical fleet promotions.
  • Work with Asset & STR Manager to develop pricing models that optimise revenue and utilisation.
  • Communicate upcoming rental demands and fleet requirements.
  • Support asset disposal planning and upselling of used equipment.
  • Track sales pipeline and performance using CRM systems.
  • Contribute to business planning and growth projections.

Experience:

  • Experience in capital equipment, plant hire, or MHE rental sales.
  • Experience in short term rental commercial environments with high-velocity fleet turnover.
  • Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and account management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of asset-based rental or leasing models.
  • CRM and rental system proficiency.
