A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team in either the Northwest or Leeds. The successful candidate will have experience delivering multi-discipline design projects within the Water sector, with additional experience in sectors such as Industrial, Chemical, Power, or Nuclear considered an advantage.

Applicants should ideally be Chartered Engineers (CEng) and have a minimum of 7 years' experience in an engineering design environment. You will be responsible for developing technical design deliverables including 3D models, GA drawings, piping isometrics, schedules, data sheets, and reports - creating innovative solutions tailored to client needs.

This role will also involve regular client interaction, so strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships and a forward-looking pipeline are essential.

On offer is:

  • Contract - 6 months rolling (5 years worth of work)
  • Rate - £50 - £60 per hour
  • Location - Based out of Chester, Manchester or Leeds 2/3 days per week
