Data Protection – Information Management – 3 month contract (Umbrella – inside IR35) – Southampton (Hybrid) I am looking for an experienced Data Protection Specialist to support my client, a prominent organisation in Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring data protection compliance and best practices within a complex and busy setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert guidance on data protection compliance, including GDPR and UK data protection legislation. Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new and existing projects, identifying and mitigating risks. Manage Information Rights requests (e.g., Subject Access Requests) in a timely and compliant manner. Investigate and respond to data breaches, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution. Develop and maintain privacy notices and policies that align with organisational practices and regulatory requirements. Oversee and advise on data sharing agreements, ensuring clarity and compliance with legal standards.
