Staffline are recruiting for an experienced Shift Performance Manager for their site in Derry/L’Derry. In this busy role you will manage the smooth and efficient running of the production process, ensuring all products are produced to the specified specifications with Health and Safety as your first priority. You will ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount, cost and level of quality is produced also. Key Duties: Ensure that safe working practices are adhered to at all times- wearing PPE as appropriate Development programmes, Disciplinary & Grievances, absence management, investigations, performance appraisals, succession planning, supervising and motivating and creating positive partnerships Ensure all team members are managed in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. Plan, schedule and direct the work efforts of the team Performance feedback to team members which includes identifying and fulfilling any training requirements for team members Maintain visibility on the production floor, driving performance of your team and support functions to deliver the plan Actively engage with the shift team to solve business problems. Monitor and adjust schedules as needed What we will need from you: Minimum of 3 years supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing environment WCOM/ Lean six-sigma knowledge Communicate and motivate coherently to achieve targets Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Flexibility- shift pattern Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal Desirable Criteria: Degree educated (preferably in a manufacturing related discipline or equivalent) NEBOSH or Equivalent SAP Knowledge/Experience Benefits Include: Generous life assurance Enhanced Paternity/Maternity Employee Assistance Programmes Private Healthcare including Family Cover Closing date for this position is Friday 20th December 2024.
