The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

1 To plan, deliver and update programmes under the supervision of the QTVI or Line Manager.

2 To participate in the planning and delivery of training, including specialised programmes for visually impaired pupils.

3 To work closely with parents/carers and staff in a way that demonstrates effective partnership working.

4 To attend meetings including multi- disciplinary assessments, case conferences and reviews and actively contribute to the partnership work that arises to ensure approaches within the team support effective multi- agency working.

5 To write support notes and maintain records (including day to day, mid term as well as end of term/ year).

6 To adapt class material and employ techniques appropriate for visually impaired children.

7 To attend school planning meetings with the class teacher.

8 To supervise lunch and break times as required.

9 To actively maintain and develop up to date knowledge and skill in the field of child development and visual impairment.

10 To participate actively in training and other in-service activities.

11 To undertake any other duties that are in line with the purpose & grade of the post as may be required from time to time.

12 To effectively contribute to personal supervision, appraisal in line with Corporate Guidelines.
