The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

This team supports young people aged 14 and over who are looked after by the Local Authority, this can range from young people who are homeless aged 16 or 17 to all care leavers up to the age of 25 years. You can also expect to support Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children.

Workers in this team form longer term relationships with young people and those who are important to them to help them achieve what they want to. They help families in a purposeful way and manage risk confidently. Workers here are able to be kind, consistent and focussed in their work with children, young people and families.

Workers hold a mixed and varied caseload, allocated according to your post-qualifying skills and experience. Focused on the best interests of children, you’ll be supported to produce clear evidence based assessments that inform effective plans.

You will have good support in a permanently staffed stable team. You will be able to work from the Vale of Glamorgan and visit young people who live within the Vale but also those who live out of county.
