We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our new-build and redevelopment nursery rollouts across the UK, providing a pivotal role in Busy Bees growth strategy. This role within the Property team will be responsible for leading turnkey and shell & core projects from feasibility planning to handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple new-build nursery projects concurrently both turnkey and shell & core, from feasibility to completion.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Property, Legal, and Finance to align project goals.
- Manage external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to support and drive the development programmes.
- Conduct site assessments and participate in due diligence for proposed developments.
- Develop and manage detailed project programmes and risk registers.
- Monitor construction progress, quality control, and compliance with health & safety and regulatory standards.
- Oversee snagging, commissioning, and final handover of completed sites to operational teams.
- Ensure projects align with Busy Bees design standards and sustainability objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven track record as a Project Manager within the construction or real estate development sector.
- Experience managing multi-site construction projects (preferably within the education, care, or hospitality sectors).
- Strong understanding of construction standards, building regulations, planning process, CDM and health & safety best practices.
- Confident in budget management, procurement processes, and contract administration.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Ability to negotiate with 3rd party developers and landlords ensuring operational high standards are met.
- A strategic thinker and decision maker.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
