Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively and communicating effectively with other areas of the Glencar Construction business to provide exceptional support.
  • To work to the Company’s Quality, Environmental and Safety Management System standards and performance criteria including delivering the objectives set.
  • To co-operate on matters of health and safety and follow the training provided.
  • To take reasonable care of personal and others’ health and safety at all times.
  • Any other duties consistent with the role of IT Coordinator may be required from time to time.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience as an Administrative Assistant, or similar role, preferably within an IT or technical environment.
  • An interest in IT field, as there is an opportunity for advancement within the IT department.
  • Excellent IT skills – proficient in Microsoft suite of programmes (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Awareness of and adherence to company policies and health and safety requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Office Management Systems, procedures, and IT-related terminology.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel in particular).
  • A basic understanding of IT infrastructure and operations is advantageous.
