Requirements:

  • Design of mechanical and electrical building services including heating, cooling, and ventilation (including active ventilation), above-ground drainage (including active effluent), controls and instrumentation, low-voltage electrical distribution, communications and data systems, fire detection and alarm systems, industrial and emergency lighting, and site broadcast (PA) systems.
  • Experience in substantiating Safety Integrity Level (SIL - BS61582-1), ONR, and high-integrity systems for nuclear safety functions.
  • Familiarity with engineering design and safety practices, and internal procedures for health & safety, design, and quality assurance.
  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent qualification).
  • Chartered Engineer status.
  • Completion of a Nuclear Introductory Course or equivalent experience in nuclear/marine systems.

Important Details:

Due to the nature of the work undertaken, successful applicants will need to have active UK SC Clearance or the ability to gain UK SC clearance. This role will also require you to work onsite in Glasgow 3 days per week.
