Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Steel Fixer to join our team for upcoming works at Lackenby Substation. This is a National Grid site, so all applicants must hold a valid National Grid Persons accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and fix steel reinforcement according to construction drawings
  • Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, and position steel bars and mesh
  • Ensure compliance with site safety and quality standards
  • Work collaboratively with the site team to meet project deadlines

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a steel fixer in a construction environment
