A leading, top-quartile Africa-focused private equity firm is seeking a high-caliber Investment Associate to join its growing team in London.

The firm manages over $3 billion in assets across multiple funds and is recognized for its strong investment performance, deep commitment to ESG and impact, and a proven track record of driving growth in innovation-led companies across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the investment process including origination, diligence, valuation, execution, and monitoring
• Conduct rigorous financial modeling, market analysis, and investment research
• Prepare internal investment memoranda and contribute to Investment Committee discussions
• Engage with portfolio companies to support value creation, strategic initiatives, and performance tracking
• Monitor key ESG and impact metrics aligned with global standards and internal benchmarks
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders including advisors, management teams, and co-investors

Candidate Profile

• 3–5 years of experience in private equity or investment banking
• Strong analytical toolkit and commercial judgment
• Experience working in or with African markets
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills (e.g., French, Portuguese) a plus
