We are a fast-growing British private equity / investment firm with a strong track record of acquiring and improving successful businesses. We are seeking an Executive Chairman to lead an international producer of wood pellets and biomass fuels.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chairman with demonstrable knowledge and experience of the sector to oversee growth of the business. A demonstrable track record of successful growth in similar or related sectors would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a sounding board and mentor for the CEO and executive team
  • Help oversee the development of a strategic plan
  • Supporting execution of its ambitious growth plan

Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record as a previous CEO in leading demonstrable ambitious growth plans with sectoral knowledge.
  • Experience of chairing boards or holding senior executive roles within energy or commodity businesses.
  • A demonstrated ability to drive growth, manage change, and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Previous acquisition experience is highly desirable.
