HGV Technician

Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter/Mechanic/Technician living in the Glasgow area?

Do you want a non-pressurised workshop rather than the time constraints of a main dealer?

The role of the HGV Technician:

You will be working on a variety of tractor and trailer units of differing makes and models, including gritters, RCVs Refuge vehicles, Diesel and EV vehicles.

The type of work as an HGV Technician you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to)

• Routine (and preventative) maintenance
• MOT preparation
• 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
• Correction of running defects
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

Requirements for this HGV Technician position:

• Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.
• Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable but not essential.

Day shift: Monday to Friday

8am – 5pm

45 hours per week, plus overtime

£42,200p/a

Permanent, full time position
