Express Recruitment are proud to be working with a world-renowned software company who are continuing to exceed expectations. Due to continued rapid growth across the UK and EU regions, our client is seeking the addition of an Automation Test Analyst to join their rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will ideally hold a relevant degree with a couple of years relevant post grad industry experience. Due to the sensitive nature of our client’s services, the successful candidate must be fully security vetted and have been a UK resident for 3 consecutive years prior to employment and to be able to provide proof of address for the last 5 years.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform testing across the organisation’s software product suite, including the preparation and delivery of test plans and scripts to company quality standards.
- Perform functional and regression testing.
- Perform a mixture of manual and automation performance-based testing.
- Build, run and maintain automation scripts.
- Utilise bug tracker tools to identify and fix any defects or configuration issues, ensuring escalated issues are reported to the Software Testing Manager.
- Extract test reports and analyse findings to share with Software Testing Manager.
- Perform testing on new software to ensure systems meet functional and technical requirements and compliance standards.
- Carry out test documentation inspections created by wider members of the team.
- Consult regularly with key stakeholders and cross-divisional senior management team to inform them of testing progress, results and potential ongoing/upcoming issues.
- Provide in-depth insight into test methodologies adopted for each project, making recommendations on new strategies and monitor efficiency across all tasks.
- Perform system upgrades and system configuration testing, ensuring release notes are correctly documented.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in relevant tech discipline e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology.
- ISTQB/ISEB Certified highly desirable.
- Proven experience in automation testing essential.
- Full proficiency with manual based performance testing.
- Capable of preparing and executing test plans and scripts.
- Up to date knowledge of QA testing compliance standards and software development methodologies.
- First class communication and people skills.
