Continuous Improvement Lead

Alexander Steele are currently recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Lead for a leading global food manufacturer with sites across the UK. Our client have taken huge strides forward in the last two years and are now positioned as the market leader in their sector for both UK and overseas customers. With the business growing rapidly, the need for innovation & further efficiency is great, along with sustained investment my client now require an Continuous Improvement professional to lead the C.I/Lean agenda across their key site near Cwmbrân. This role will report to the Manufacturing Director and client will pay £50k basic salary plus benefits. You role will operate on a Monday to Friday basis, working 8.30am till 4.30pm but my client will expect a degree of flexibility as and when the role requires. The Role * The Continuous Improvement Lead drives sustainable continuous improvements delivering breakthrough results in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC), while building cultural change throughout the organization. * The CI Lead works closely with Operations and department employees to achieve results. This position requires strong Lean Manufacturing and hands-on leadership skills, along with a passion for Operational Excellence, to be successful.
