QCS Staffing is excited to partner with the University of Hertfordshire to offer ambitious individuals a unique opportunity to build a successful career while earning a Degree in Business & Management and CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership. This apprenticeship program combines hands-on experience with academic learning, allowing you to gain invaluable business skills in a dynamic, award-winning company.

As an apprentice, you'll spend 80% of your time working directly within the business, applying your knowledge in real-world settings, and 20% dedicated to studying towards your degree. Over the course of a 3-year program, you'll gain both practical experience and a structured academic plan designed to set you up for long-term success. About the Role:

As a Chartered Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and managing people, projects, operations, and services across a variety of sectors. Whether you're in a managerial, senior management, or operations role, this apprenticeship will help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to drive change and make an impact within your organisation. The role in the Delivery team involves sourcing candidates for our live vacancies across our three global industries: Life Sciences, Renewable Energy, and Data Centres & IT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify and match candidates to job opportunities, including negotiating rates and handling objections.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Manager/Team Leader to prioritise assignments and liaise with the business winning team.
  • Conduct candidate searches via the company database, job boards, and social media for active and passive candidates.
  • Ensure candidate records and CVs are updated in the CRM (Bullhorn).
  • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the process to ensure excellent service.
  • Work with the marketing team to write and post relevant job ads and keep them updated.
  • Post job ads and content weekly on communities like LinkedIn.
  • Prepare and present pre-qualified CVs to the business winning team.
  • Obtain two references for each candidate submission.
  • Work with the business winning team to manage the full candidate lifecycle, including interviews and offers.
  • Assist with candidate onboarding, including compliance and travel arrangements.
  • Headhunt and network to gain referrals and contract requirements.
  • Identify new business opportunities to support development.
  • Complete weekly handovers with the Line Manager and Business Winners.
  • Represent QCS professionally at all times.

  • Understand and manage budgets, financial reports, and procurement processes.

Requirements:

  • A levels (or equivalent) or Level 3 qualifications with at least 112 UCAS Points.
  • English, Maths, and ICT at Level 3.
  • Previous experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

Duration: Typically 4 years (dependent on prior experience).

Qualifications: Upon successful completion, you'll achieve a degree in Management and Business (BA, BSc, or BBA) and have the opportunity to apply for Chartered Manager status (CMgr MCMI).

Recognition: Become a Chartered Manager and gain membership to relevant professional bodies such as the Chartered Management Institute (CMgr MCMI).
