An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Thatcham as a HR Manager . This is an exciting role working part of a small and busy HR team, providing efficient HR support and guidance to over 400 staff. You will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, payroll, as well as working closely with the director on the development of HR strategies. Benefits: * 25 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown * 9% employer pension scheme * Income protection * Life assurance * Delicious daily meals on site * Various social occasions throughout the year. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for: * Manage employee relations including disputes, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy. * Lead on recruitment and selection strategies. * Line management of the HR Coordinator. * Assist with the development of HR policy and procedures. * Plan and carry out new staff induction days. The successful HR Manager will have the following related skills / experience: * Qualified to CIPD Level 5 – qualified by experience also to be considered. * 5+ years HR generalist experience. * Experience of managing one or two direct reports. * Excellent ER knowledge and experience.
