Your new company A leading national accountancy firm in Birmingham is seeking an Assistant Manager and Manager for their Accounting and Financial Reporting team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant, dynamic, and supportive firm. Your new role As an Assistant Manager, you will assist managers in delivering work profitably, manage a small portfolio of not-for-profit clients, and focus on complex financial reporting and consolidations.As a Manager, you will support accounting and financial teams across several offices, actively contribute to the department’s growth by identifying opportunities and engaging in business development activities. You will assist the Department Head in daily management, oversee your own portfolio of not-for-profit clients and give a premium service, manage your team’s performance, and develop plans for junior staff. What you’ll need to succeed For both roles, strong communication, organisation, and management skills are essential.
