Talent Media is working closely with a leader in the precision engineering industry to find an experienced CMM / Mechanical Inspector for their Basildon operation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced environment where quality is everything and your inspection skills are front and centre.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Conducting first-off and final inspections of complex machined components
• Completing AS9100 first article inspection reports
• Using PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso, or similar to operate CMM and other inspection tools
• Maintaining traceability, calibration and compliance documentation
• Identifying and documenting non-conformities
• Supporting continuous quality improvement alongside production and QA teams

What Were Looking For:

• Solid experience inspecting machined parts using CMM, Shadow Graph, Vision CMM etc.
• Knowledge of GD&T, SPC, ISO 9001
• Previous hands-on experience with aluminium alloys, steel, titanium
• Confident working to engineering drawings and applying first-principles
• Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and deadline-driven mindset
• Familiarity with shop floor environments and fast-paced inspection schedules

Your Week:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern
• Onsite in Basildon, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager
