Social Value Manager – Hitchin (London and East) Join Willmott Dixon’s award-winning Sustainability Team as a Social Value Manager and make a real impact in the communities we serve. About the Role: We’re seeking a proactive and passionate Social Value Manager to lead community engagement and skills development projects across London and East . This hybrid role will see you working both on-site with project teams, visiting customers, and also from our Hitchin office or home. Reporting to the Senior Social Value Manager, you’ll support our ambitious Now or Never Sustainability Strategy , playing a critical role in aligning with customer priorities and delivering meaningful, measurable social value. What You’ll Do: Plan, manage, and deliver social value activities that reflect customer and business needs. Serve as a trusted advisor on social value for teams, frameworks, and partners. Drive collaboration across teams and supply chain partners to embed social value in our projects. Support bid and tender processes, contributing social value insights and attending customer events. Track and report on project performance against KPIs, with a focus on continuous improvement. About You: Experience in social value delivery and customer-focused solution design; construction experience is a plus but not essential. Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills with a genuine passion for social sustainability. Proven ability to lead social value initiatives, inspire stakeholders, and drive impactful change. Essential Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project). Full UK driving licence. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Social Sustainability or related field. Experience in facilitation or coaching. Relevant CSCS card. Why Willmott Dixon?
