MDE Group UK LTD are recruiting for an HGV Technician/Mechanic to join our established clients growing team based in the Newport area.
You will ideally come from a time served HGV Technician/Mechanic background with an industry relative qualification and experience, or demonstrable experience. We're looking for 2 years experience.
Job Description:
- Carry out routine inspections, using R2C workshop management.
- Maintenance, servicing and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard.
- Carry out a wide range of defect repairs from replacing a bulb to replacing brake discs and pads or even complete engine re-build.
- Fault diagnostic and rectification using the latest manufacturers computer systems and tooling.
- Experience of identifying and rectifying electrical issues.
- Complete job cards and maintenance sheets in an accurate and timely manner.
- Able to multi-skill and have a flexible approach to working hours.
Requirements:
- Diagnostics and electrical experience leads to the higher paygrade
- Valid driver's license required
- HGV C+E preferred
- Industry recognised qualification or time served experience
