WLS Recruitment Solutions Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Machinist (Setting and Operating) for our client based in Stanley, Co. Durham.
Main Duties:
- Efficiently set up CNC machines based on job specifications.
- Operate CNC machines to produce precision components within tolerances.
- Monitor machine performance, making adjustments for optimal production.
- Read and interpret technical drawings; check first offs.
- Conduct in-process inspections, and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering for design feedback and continuous improvement.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines for optimal functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of setups, tool changes, and production runs.
Requirements:
- Proven CNC Machinist experience (Experience with Haas & Hurco Machines preferred).
- Proficient in reading technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to high-quality work.
- Solid understanding of machine tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Experience programming and writing G codes (desirable).
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Pay: £13.66-£19.33 per hour
