Job Description: Electrical Supervisor (Wirral) Company Overview: We are a recruitment agency working on behalf of a well-established electrical contractor based in the Wirral. Our client is a leading provider of electrical services, delivering high-quality installations, maintenance, and repairs to a diverse range of sectors, including schools, hospitals, universities, and commercial buildings. They are now looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and lead their electrical teams on a variety of projects. Position: Electrical Supervisor Location: Wirral Salary: £44,000 per annum Hours: 39 hours per week Van: Company van included Responsibilities: * Supervise and lead a team of electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across various sites, including schools, hospitals, universities, and commercial buildings. * Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, wiring standards (18th Edition), and industry best practices. * Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of electrical projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality workmanship. * Provide guidance and technical support to electricians on-site, ensuring all work meets the required standards and specifications. * Carry out inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and client requirements. * Maintain accurate project documentation, including job sheets, inspection reports, risk assessments, and certification. * Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during installations, ensuring minimal disruption to clients, particularly in sensitive environments such as hospitals and schools. * Liaise with clients and contractors, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues as they arise. * Foster a positive and productive team environment, ensuring that electricians adhere to project schedules and safety protocols. * Ensure the effective use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials on-site, and report any issues with resources to management. * Stay up to date with industry changes, new technologies, and emerging trends in electrical work. Requirements: * ECS Gold Card required (Electrical Supervisor or Electrician Certification Scheme). * Proven experience as an Electrician with at least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, ideally in schools, hospitals, universities, and commercial buildings. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring regulations (18th Edition), and health and safety standards. * Excellent supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of electricians. * Solid problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. * Exceptional communication and organizational skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members. * Ability to work independently and under pressure while ensuring high-quality work and safety standards are maintained. * Full UK driving license, as the role involves driving the company van to various sites across Wirral and surrounding areas.
