Catering Supervisor required based in Newcastle Under Lyme. Temporary role for 2 weeks (providing cover). Working Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 1:30pm. Rate of pay £13.30ph.
Our client within the education sector is looking for a Catering Supervisor to provide cover for 2 weeks starting from the beginning of June. You will be leading their small kitchen team to prepare and cook meals and ensure exceptional service every day.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
As Catering Supervisor, you will take charge of the day-to-day operations in the kitchen, focusing on:
- Preparation & Cooking: Preparing the ingredients and cooking of meals.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee the preparation, cooking and service of meals to ensure high standards and efficiency.
- Food Hygiene & Safety: Ensure that all staff comply with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Serving meals, create memorable lunchtime experiences by maintaining a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and manage a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
