We're hiring a Commissioning Engineer to join a leading multi-disciplinary engineering and construction company on a permanent, full-time on site position in Sussex. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting water and waste-water projects across a variety of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and managing comprehensive commissioning records and documentation.
  • Overseeing and coordinating all commissioning activities.
  • Leading commissioning meetings with subcontractors and clients as needed.
  • Reviewing and approving commissioning documentation and Risk Assessments/Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues during the commissioning phase.
  • Performing pre-commissioning inspections and equipment/system testing.

Key Requirements:

  • Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering.
  • Must have prior experience in commissioning water/wastewater treatment projects.
  • Proven experience collaborating with contractors or water utility providers.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment processes and distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with ICA (Instrumentation, Control & Automation) and process systems is advantageous.
