We're hiring a Commissioning Engineer to join a leading multi-disciplinary engineering and construction company on a permanent, full-time on site position in Sussex. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting water and waste-water projects across a variety of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and managing comprehensive commissioning records and documentation.
- Overseeing and coordinating all commissioning activities.
- Leading commissioning meetings with subcontractors and clients as needed.
- Reviewing and approving commissioning documentation and Risk Assessments/Method Statements (RAMS).
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues during the commissioning phase.
- Performing pre-commissioning inspections and equipment/system testing.
Key Requirements:
- Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering.
- Must have prior experience in commissioning water/wastewater treatment projects.
- Proven experience collaborating with contractors or water utility providers.
- Strong understanding of water treatment processes and distribution systems.
- Familiarity with ICA (Instrumentation, Control & Automation) and process systems is advantageous.
