A growing Software Consultancy are looking for a personable and driven Account Manager to join their Newcastle Head Office, to play a key role in fostering and expanding client relationships.
This role would be well-suited to someone who has experience working in a client-facing Account Management role (or similar), within the SaaS / Software Development / Technology domain, who has a keen interest in technology.
You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing accounts, acting as their main point of contact to ensure their satisfaction whilst identifying opportunities for future expansion and up-selling where possible. This will involve creating targeted account strategies, and maintaining a close awareness of client challenges in order to bring them new propositions.
This is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days per week in their Newcastle City Centre office. They’re a really dynamic and sociable company, with monthly social events, and would be a great place for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a client-facing Account Manager role (or similar) within the Technology domain, managing multiple account simultaneously
- Strong commercial acumen, including knowledge of fee structures and commercial terms
- Strong ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Track-record of handling and overcoming objections, with excellent influencing and negotiation skills
