For our subsidiary COSCO SHIPPING Bulk (UK) Ltd., located in Barking, England we are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant (m/f/d).
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Finance Manager in preparing reports and handling ad-hoc management requests.
- Reconcile supplier statements and communicate updates to suppliers.
- Liaise with HQ and local departments to ensure timely financial updates.
- Assist with invoice postings, local payments, and expense claim processing.
- Record and post daily fund transactions in SAP.
- Support month-end tasks, including bank reconciliations and FX revaluations.
- Assist with tax matters, including income tax, VAT, and corporate tax.
- Newly qualified ACCA/CIMA or graduate.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work at pace to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to speak both English and Mandarin would be helpful.
